Cached data? How ( and when ) to clear cache data on Android

What is cached data?
Cached data is information which comes from a website or an app that is stored on your computer, smartphone and tablet.
This data is stored on your machine, so that the next time you go to use it, it’ll already be available. For simpler understanding: Cached data is nothing but files, images, scripts and other media files stored on your devices by the website or app. Data is stored on your devices in a reserved space, so the next time when you are visiting the app or website, information is already available.

Why does cached data do this?
The simple reason is to save on loading time. A website, for example, might save data about the website’s layout on your smartphone or pc. By doing this, it means your smartphone won’t have to load it from the internet all over again next time.

Does cached data take up space?
Yes, the disadvantage to cached data is that it takes up space on your device, which means you should probably clear it every now and again. Cached data is useful for websites you visit regularly.

Should I clear my cached data?
If you clean cache nothing will happen. Because android cache lot of information which are unnecessary and tend to slow system. So even if you clean cache when you visit app or website it will still cache the data.

Clearing cached data does not clear other data like logins or saved games, that is it does not clear sensitive n vital information.
